The Challenge:
The goal of this project was to redesign the official poster for the film Sinners to attract two specific groups: vampire fans and Blues music lovers. The main challenge was to tell the movie's story without using standard marketing materials, such as photos of the actors or scenes from the film. Instead, the design had to rely entirely on creative visual metaphors to connect music, horror, and mystery.

The Solution:
A highly conceptual poster that uses powerful visual symbols to connect both audiences in a single image. To show the deep link between music and violence in the film, I used fake blood to create the shape of a guitar that also looks like a dripping blood drop. Inside the guitar body, I hid the silhouettes of the two main characters to keep them mysterious, and I designed a custom font featuring subtle vampire fangs. Finally, I used a striking red-to-yellow gradient background to mimic a sunrise, which directly represents the final, dramatic scene of the movie.
